“Im in a calorie deficit but im not loosing weight “⁉️⁉️ - Reasons why this could be happening ➡️ you are actually not in a deficit im afraid❌ - ⬇️⬇️⬇️ - 1️⃣your using apps eg. my fitness pal to find your daily calorie intake goal which is 100% not accurate - 2️⃣Portion sizes- your hand full of nuts is a giant handful which can add on an extra 100-200 calories you are not counting ..! Thats why i would recommend tracking food using a food scales for your first few weeks when you are trying to make progress Nd reach your goals ☑️ - 3️⃣Tea, coffee, sauces,juices, oils- you are not tracking your liquids.! 2 cups of tea a day with your added milk and sugar can add 200 cals or more to your daily intake..! Be aware..! In one tablespoon of olive oil (13.5g ) theirs 119 cals like thats just traumatising lads ‼️🤣 get the spray oil and save your cals..! - 4️⃣Exercise- over estimating how active you are , so make sure you are actually as active as you say you are when finding out what calories you should be eating..! 💤Sleep - it’s something I really like to focus on, work on and try an improve. 😴 If your body isn’t getting enough sleep you won’t repair as quickly, so you won’t see the affects of all that hard work you’ve put in the gym. Other affects of not getting enough sleep is poor judgement (you may find when you get a bad nights sleep you will impulse eat a lot more ), poor mental health, fatigue, potential health problems. This week’s Mindset Task from Lauren is to focus on the quality and length of your sleep. - Stay away from harsh lights before bed - Stay off your phone before bed - Set a bedtime and stick to it - Ensure you’re getting 8 hours of sleep - Wake up at the same time every morning (even on weekends 🙈 ) - Drink plenty of water throughout the day - Relax before bed - Stretch before bed These are some things which help me wake up rested and feeling amazing!
