8 easy miles today after a tough pyramid session at the track last night, where I confirmed to myself that I should definitely be a sprinter...!🏃🏻‍♀️My fast twitch muscles are in much better shape than my slow twitch ones!😆 . Hamstrings in agony today with all the DOMS from leg workout yesterday as well as the track. Listen, I pride myself on patience, but right here and right now, my patience is low. Thank goodness for Peloton. Do you feel me?? While there is no quick fix, I have learned to use my deep breathing when I catch myself being impatient with the kids. The trick is catching myself before I go down the rabbit hole. I haven’t quite found the perfect way to catch myself, but just having an awareness of my voice and my heart rate has been most helpful. I will get HOT when I’m getting less patient, so that is also a cue. What are your cues that you need to take a step back?

me driving exactly the same Mercedes GLA again as a few days ago. Sometimes the petrolhead in me is still there 🤷‍♂️, I drove this car extensively again and the car had to endure a lot again, poor car 😈😜. An impression is visible on the last picture. (*******3rd picture******* ). Typical my that I still haven't adapted my outfit to the season, I'm not done with summer outfits in september yet. I was even wearing a short black denim shorts (fully visible from the co-driver's view on the *******2nd picture******* ), combined with a white poloshirt and 2-eye boat shoes 😎. Because except of my expensive and high value suits, my summer clothes are the better of any clothes I own, I still bravely still ignore that summer is actually really over 😬. Anyway I don't get too cold so quickly. During the coronavirus crisis, there aren't also that many events which make shorts unsuitable. Anyway, almost everything takes place indoors in a private circle and long pants are not required anywhere 😉. One of the things that really motivates me is someone doing something I didn’t expect they can do. Like a person who doesn’t run that much running a marathon. The thought “If they can do it, I can do it even better” in my head. And then I just have to do it better. It’s cruel but true. I am a competitive person, so forgive me for it. It doesn’t really matter what is your motivation as long as it works. Find your reason and do whatever it takes to reach the goal!

Sunday speed 🔥 18K incl 2x3 min ⁣ +10x2 min intervals 😬✅⁣ ⁣ As yesterday was a light day of training, I was more than ready for a speed session today 🥳 - though I did had to kick my self out the door 😂 ⁣ ⁣ My workout:⁣ 5K warm up⁣ 2times 3 min harder running, rest - 1 min easy ⁣ 10 times 2 min hard running, rest - 1 min easy ⁣ Easy jog home⁣ ⁣ And a little TIP: I don’t like to look at my watch all the time, so I’ve downloaded an interval app (just found one for free at App Store ) - In here I can adjust minutes for my workout - I bring my phone with me in an armband and wearing my EarPods. Everytime the minutes - both rest and hard work are done it says “DING” and then I know whenever it’s time to speed up or having the break! Then I can just focus on running and not worry about anything else 🤩⁣ ⁣ How do you count your intervals?😁⁣ ⁣ 🇩🇰 Søndags fart træning 🤩 18KM inkl 2x3 min+10x2 min interval 🥳⁣ ⁣ Eftersom igår var en let træningsdag, var jeg klar til fart træning idag - selvom jeg godt nok liiiige skulle sparke mig selv ud af døren 🤣⁣ ⁣ Min træning:⁣ 5Km let opvarmning ⁣ 2gange 3 min semi-hårdt løb, pause - 1 min let jog⁣ 10gange 2 min hårdt løb, pause - 1 min let løb⁣ Let løb hjem ⁣ ⁣ Og et lille TIP:⁣ Jeg hader kigge på uret hele tiden, så jeg har fundet en gratis interval app på App store, hvor jeg kan skrive mine interval minutter ind. Så tager jeg simpelthen telefonen på armen, putter høretelefonerne i, også fortæller den mig med et “DING” hvergang det et tid til enten at speede up, eller holde pause!⁣ Mega smart - og gør så jeg bare kan fokusere på at løbe (og trække vejret🤣 ) og ikke skal tænke på tid, antal etc!⁣ ⁣ Hvordan holder du styr på dine intervaller?😁⁣
