Parece que foi ontem que iniciei nesse esporte, lembro - me muito bem de todos os obstáculos daquela época, mas sempre tive em mente que os mesmos foram feitos para serem superados. Não sabia de muita coisa, muitas vezes não tinha nem o básico pra poder fazer o que era preciso, mas eu tinha uma coisa que hoje eu observo que falta em muitos pseudos atletas, a gana, uma vontade absurda de me superar a cada dia em todos os aspectos da minha vida, não só no que se referia ao esporte em si e isso me ensinou a ser um homem melhor. Eu só pensava em maneiras de fazer muito com o pouquíssimo que eu tinha e esse fato nunca fez eu me sentir melhor do que ninguém, assim como não faz até hoje. BUILDING MUSCLE👇⁣ ⁣ I stumbled across the photo on the left today. 3 years ago I was at my leanest ever condition at one of my bikini competitions.⁣ ⁣ First pic 2017 ➡️ Second pic 2020⁣ ⁣ Firstly, building tissue as a female is HARD WORK…Dont be fooled into thinking this process can happen overnight- IT CANT‼️⁣ ⁣ Between the two photos there are 3 YEARS of training consistently✅, progressing lifts📈, tracking/progressing my nutrition, multiple phases of gaining muscle, cutting and living life in between 💃⁣ ⁣ The reality of gaining muscle is that its really not pretty and progress will happen a lot slower than you want it to ❌ I say it all the time to my clients- FAT LOSS IS THE EASY PART, building muscle is the hard part and its where most people fail. Here are common reasons why:⁣ ⁣ 1. They struggle to get their head around the fact that in order to grow you MUST eat ⁣ ⁣ 2. In order to build muscle you must also understand you will gain some body fat in order to effectively build ⁣ ⁣ 3. Putting on a smile and being positive . Soooo...SnapFitness, Glasgow has decided not to reopen after lockdown lifts. It’s a shame cause I was really enjoying myself there and all my clients loved it too, the members and staff will be missed ❤️ . I’ll be relocating (obviously ) to a gym in the city centre so it won’t be a big change in location. I’m working on a place that suits best for my clients and I but with lockdown it’s making the process take a bit longer than wanted . I’ll still be doing outdoor PT and Online Coaching - which btw is being revamped and I’ll be talking more about the Online Coaching soon 👀 - so I still get to mentor clients which in the end is what matters .
