The biggest difference between these two clips? Not the weight. Not the jumper. Spine position! .. Clip 1 - spine is neutral throughout - meaning there is no curvature in the spine. Subsequently this will prevent me from injuring myself and will give me the best “bang for my buck” . . . Leg Day Progression can be achieved in a number of ways, from an increase in load, repetition, sets, tempo etc. One method I like to employ in my training as well as informing clients. Is to own the whole movement, what I mean by this is controlling the weight throughout the movement. Be aware of all aspects like, set up, tempo mind-muscle connection being able to control the weight throughout the movement. So next time you go to reach for a heavier dumbbell or load the barbell ask yourself are you controlling the weight or is the weight controlling you. Swipe right to see the next video in which I'm performing walking lunges. So the purpose of the video is to highlight the importance of hip extension and propelling forward during the lunge. Why is this important? Because there are 3 muscles responsible for hip extension. 1 gluteus maximus(primary mover/agonist ) 2 biceps femoris(synergist ) 3 erector spinae(synergist ) Therefore if you do not fully extend the hips while performing the walking lunges your losing out on initiating these muscles in the movement. Every time I see this exercise performed in a group class (and pretty much with most individuals ) a little bit of me dies inside. Bit extreme I know haha. All jokes aside, for me exercises come with a risk reward ratio. And for the reward you get with this exercise compared to the risk for potential knee and ligament damage is not enough. Most general population, lack the strength, mobility and joint structural integrity to perform this movement especially with an external load. You need to look at an exercise and decide the ‘intent’ what are you actually looking for as a result of performing this exercise. Maybe there are some scenarios where this could be effective but I struggle to see it over these variations for the large majority of people. Better options Squat variations Walking Lunges Bulgarian Split Squats Lateral Lunge. Sled pushes and pulls and lateral pulls. . اندر فواید هر حرکت تمرینی میشه نکات خیلی زیادی رو مطرح کرد پس اگر من به چند نکته کوتاه اشاره میکنم لطفا دلیل بر این نشه که فوایدش محدوده 😬🖐🏻 مثالی که از دکتر استوپانی اوردم مربوط به تحقیق روی فوتبالیست هایی بود که هفته ای ۲ بار لانج راه رفتنی رو ۴ ست ۱۲ تکراری انجام داده بودند و تاکید میکنم که افزایش قدرت پشت پای اونها بعد از ۶ هفته ۳۵ درصد بود در حالی که افزایش قدرتی در چهار سر ران مشاهده نشد. نکته : این فقط یک تحقیق هست و نمیشه گفت لانج تاثیری در افزایش قدرت عضلات چهار سر ران نداره و... چون سابقه تمرین قدرتی ورزشکاران و خیلی از عوامل دیگه هم مهمه. مطلبی که خواستم بگم اینه: از لانج برای ایجاد و حفظ بالانس قدرت بین پای چپ و راست استفاده کنید. #لانج #فرشید_نزاکتی #fitness #bodybuilding #lunges
