Haven’t pulled this photo out in a while 😳 I was probably eating McDonald’s like 4 times a week and was drinking a huge amount. I would go from one extreme to the other from counting calories to points or diet pills. A year after this I dropped about 20kg and it took me a few years to balance anything right. After both my kids I gained weight which is very normal, more so after my second but I was lucky enough to have the knowledge and skills to do it the right way. When you’re a female losing weight needs to be done the right way. We have a metabolism to protect and hormones. July in Review ⬇️ . . With vacation + a minor strained hip flexor it definitely was a challenge to keep up with June’s numbers and you know what? That is OK. We don’t always have to over perform or constantly beat our rides, calories or last months goals. I was able to devote more time to my Yoga practice & learned to listen to what MY body needed 🖤. 🥺🤢 Anxiety is real. ⁣ ⁣ Tonight I cried during my lift. I laugh at myself putting that in writing, but it really happened. ⁣ ⁣ I don’t know why or where it came from, but it just came out, and then it got into my head, which then made my body feel weak, which then affected my workout. And that frustrates me. I kept going, pushed through, and finished, but I really didn’t enjoy working out tonight. It didn’t feel good at all. It sucked. ⁣ ⁣ And that’s okay. Life doesn’t always come wrapped perfectly in a pretty package. Sometimes it’s messy, sometimes it’s interrupted, sometimes you have so much on your mind you can’t even organize your thoughts, sometimes you can’t catch your breath and it leads to a panic attack, sometimes you go down a completely different path than you wanted or planned to. ⁣ ⁣ IT IS OK. ⁣ ⁣ The important thing to note here is that even when these moments come, (and they will...and they’ll look different for each person ), you can acknowledge how you’re feeling, but don’t sit there too long. Don’t sit in suffering. During my workout tonight, I went outside the gym 5 different times to wipe my tears, take a walk, or control my breathing. ⁣ ⁣ But then I came back inside and kept going. Even with more breaks than normal, even with my chest feeling heavy, even with my eyes red. The workout didn’t look pretty, and I didn’t look my best, but I kept going. ⁣ ⁣ So, keep moving forward. Keep your eyes forward. No amount of regret can change the past, and no amount of worry can change the future. ⁣ ⁣ Take a deep breath if you’re feeling anxious. You’re still here, and you still have plenty to live for. Everything will be alright. 💛

a lil ~different~ style photo today because we’ve got a new recipe! 2 INGREDIENT GRANOLA POPSICLES!🤯🍭 making homemade popsicles in the summer was always so fun growing up! I know I was always loyal to the fruity ones, but this is a major upgrade on that😜 sometimes, my granola / cookie recipes fail, and you end up with a sort of crumbly mess. the best way to save that is to pop it in a mold with some @lifewaykefir or yogurt and freeze it for a nice refreshing summer treat!!🤩 Yall know I’m always team #nofoodwaste and this is an easy and tasty way to achieve that!💗 also @healthfulblondie made some awesome Kefir popsicles so she inspired this recipe! catch the details below! ————————————————————— Granola Popsicles🍭 You’ll need: 2 cups flavored non-dairy Kefir 1 cup granola of choice (I chose failed crumbled cookies😂 ) Fill popsicle mold halfway with kefir, stuff in part of the granola, then fill to the top with kefir. Do that for each mold you have! Freeze according to your mold directions🥰🥰
