☀️Fitness vs lifestyle☀️ Me and my friends went out for drinks last night for the first time in 4 months since lockdown and it was lush! I definitely had a time in my fitness journey where the idea of going out for drinks/dinner seemed scary because I thought it would throw off all my progress! I can’t believe I ever had that mindset but I think a lot of people go through it! Now I know I’d much rather live a full and social life making memories and eating cake and never have a 6 pack!! Push-up is often a journey; especially for women. Considering structural difference in chest muscles in men and women, I often come across this misconception that since women have breasts they don't need to workout on their pectoralis group of muscles. But if you ask me, if a women can progress in push-ups it is an absolutely a beautiful sign of fitness. To be able to push your own body weight up against the floor despite carrying more fat filled mass attached right on top of chest muscles (🙄 ). Actually in love with these cute ass little shorts I got from Primark last night for a fiver! What a steal!! Four week @courtneydblack challenge!! My personal goal was not to lose anymore weight but to tone. So I upped my calories and protein. I finished the challenge on Wednesday (so only did 3 and a half weeks ) as I have a long weekend off.
