Si bien puede haber varias causas diferentes de los isquiotibiales tensos, como la compensación por el uso excesivo, estirar y / o liberar estos músculos puede ayudar a mejorar temporalmente su flexibilidad y disminuir el tono general. También es importante hacer un seguimiento con ejercicios de fortalecimiento para consolidar sus resultados. 1️⃣ 𝗛𝗔𝗠𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗪𝗔𝗟𝗟 𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗘𝗧𝗖𝗛: Acuéstese boca arriba y descanse un isquiotibial contra un estante en cuclillas o el marco de la puerta. Desliza tus glúteos lo más cerca posible hacia el estante para sentadillas. Baje lentamente la pierna opuesta hacia el suelo hasta sentir un estiramiento. Anyone else experience past or current strain/injury to the hamstrings 🙋‍♀️? This exercise for the hamstrings has recently become one of my favorites.⁣ ⁣ 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Nordic Hamstring Curl - strengthens the hamstrings which are important for running, jumping, climbing and walking. They are also vulnerable to strain and injury which is why keeping them strong is necessary.⁣ ⁣ 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐏𝐢𝐜𝐬: there is a reason for the word 'progress'. I was basically falling over the bosu ball set-up in the first video back in March. With the closing of the gyms I had to switch to a home set-up which was frustrating because although I did progress some, I felt like I had hit a plateau. However, when the gym reopened I was able to control the movement in the original setup much better. Glad I didn't give up during my home workouts. ⁣ *𝘋𝘪𝘴𝘤𝘭𝘢𝘪𝘮𝘦𝘳: I apologize for the sub-par videos. I did not originally take these for the purpose of posting.⁣ ⁣ 𝐎𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝗪𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐃𝐨 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬: Partner Assisted; Band Assisted; Glute-Ham Raise Machine⁣ ⁣ 𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐏𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐬: ⁣ * Great exercise to strengthen your hamstrings; ⁣ * Be prepared to feel soreness 1-2 days later (DOMS - delayed onset muscle soreness ) as you may not feel it right away; ⁣ * Videos are a GREAT way to show progress;⁣ * Small progress is STILL PROGRESS as you can see from my videos; ⁣ * Lastly, don't give up when you hit a plateau or when life throws you curveballs. In this video, we go over a few ways you can target the hamstrings in order to get into a better deadlift position: - 1️⃣Address tissue quality with a tennis ball/lacrosse ball 2️⃣Gain temporary range of motion in the hamstrings using a mobilizing technique called “Contract-Relax” 3️⃣Solidify the new range of motion with an active mobility drill - Try these drills out during your warm up before your next deadlift day if you have trouble getting into a proper hip hinge position while approaching the bar!
