Idk why I'm stood like this either dont @ me To put it bluntly yesterday was shit. I had high hopes for myself to do endless jobs and a workout and in the end did nothing but wallowed. I try to keep my posts quite positive but I have been feeling a bit off and like I'm teetering on the edge of a bit of a meltdown, so I allowed myself to meltdown and cry and now I feel better! “Lifting weights will just make me bulky...” I hear this quote ALMOST DAILY by so many girls afraid to lift weights because they don’t want to look bulky or too muscular, but let me show you something 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻 - Swiiiiipe to see my first journey in 2015 ⏭ The girl on the right in both photos are nearly the same weight...the difference???? Look at how much STRONGER my body is in the first photo. I’m not bulky, I’m not overly built, I’m strong and waaaaaay more confident 💪🏻🖤 - The girl in the second photo DROWNED herself in cardio and core workouts & that was it, and yet, you could barely see any ab definition on my body. Now, I incorporate five days a week of strength training && even though I still do cardio everyday (because it helps my mental health ), my body has strengthened in ways I could not have even imagined in my wildest dreams 🤪💭 - LIFT THE DARN WEIGHTS, GIRL. HIGH VOLUME LEG DAY 🤩 This was my last workout at the gym before it shut again in Hong Kong 🥺🥺I was really disappointed as I had been prioritising uni and I was finally getting back into gym routine the past couple weeks. 5 WAYS TO PROGRESS YOUR PUSH UPS LEEEETS GO! 1️⃣ Negative on your knees- Set up in the position as shown, knees back, not square! Knees, Hips and shoulders all in-line. Let yourself down slowly for 3/4 seconds and then help yourself back up if you can’t Push up! 2️⃣Kneeling Push Ups- in this same position, perform push ups, chest to the floor, hands and shoulders parallel with your elbows going behind and not out! 3️⃣Walking Plank- starting on your elbows with your whole body flat and your core tight. Push yourself up onto your hands into a straight arm plank, and then back down to your elbows! 4️⃣ Full Push Ups- Keeping your whole body flat, core tight and arms fully locked and hands parcelled you your shoulders, not forward. Good afternoon everyone hope your all having an amazing day so far and that your smashing this weeks goals! - Ok we are going to get a little deep for this post ahah so get ready! Ok I honestly believe that fitness and working out saved my life and here’s why. For a lot of my younger years I wasn’t a very popular or nice person granted I done have a lot of memory about it but that’s a different story for another post. The brief bits I do remember I wasn’t a great person which is probably why I didn’t have many friends which is fair enough. It then came time for high school and that’s when it got rough I didn’t have the easiest time I have little to no friends and my head was a mess! I wasn’t particularly good at any one subject and didn’t know where I was going in life. It was then that I found an old weight set in my attic and started using it that for that 1 hour time period it was just me and the weights and it really did help to ease my mind. As the time went on I stuck with my fitness and now it’s more than just a hobby or something that I do it for me is a part of me and I genuinely don’t know that I would be doing without it. I’m also in college training to be a personal trainer so that I can help people with fitness the same way it helped me! - Ok bit deep for a Tuesday but I wanted to talk about this for a while and didn’t have the gut to do it so here we are, if you read all this your a real one, also much love to everyone the support is insane 🙏🏻❤️

💥Fat Distribution💥 During this cut I've seen that my back is one of the first places to lean out and my legs and lower abs (like most ) are the last. Different people will store their body fat in different places usually down to genetics. Unfortunately there is no way of reducing fat in a specific area of your body also know as spot reducing. To reduce fat you must be in a calorie deficit and to reduce it in the most stubborn areas you will have to be in a calorie deficit for a prolonged period of time. 75 HARD I’ve heard of this challenge for a while now, and I’m finally ready to crush it. What is it? A mental and physical challenge that most do not complete. My boyfriend ( @jbwake ) and I are doing this together and today is DAY ONE. Every day you have to: 1️⃣Two 45 minute workouts, one HAS to be outside, no matter what the weather is. 2️⃣Follow some type of diet. No cheat meals. We both will be following a macro diet and tracking in @myfitnesspal 3️⃣No alcohol- we don’t drink much, but I have some events coming up that will really test it! 4️⃣Drink ONE GALLON of water every single day 5️⃣Read 10 pages a day of a non fictional self development book. I’ve bought a couple for this challenge. Now I just need a cute book mark 6️⃣Take a progress photo every single day. If you mess up in any way, like forget to take a photo, or don’t read that day... you start back at day ONE. I’ve listened to podcasts about this challenge, and YouTube videos (like @hopescope ) and I’m ready to crush it. #75dayhard #75hard #75hardchallenge
