Today was my first workout in SIX DAYS. That’s right. But hear me out... my journey has never been about weight loss. It’s been about the commitment to myself to make sure that I am getting exactly what I want out of life. And that’s what I’ve been doing. Eating cupcakes (red velvet, of course ), drinking wine, wearing alllll my bikinis, and not worrying about a GD thing🤘🏼 ⁣ And guess what?! My world didn’t burn down. Nobody’s hurt (maybe from a wine hangover- ouch ) and I can jump back on my routine and keep going! These are manipulating TEMPO of the skip. * * What I want you to notice is the change in my abdominal tension and overall rigidity of my body. As the single skip changes to a double under and my speed increases, I am SEQUENTIALLY increasing the tension in my body. * * That is going to translate into more tension on the pelvic floor and more fatigue. * * Try and slow down your athletes to get their pelvic floors to not have to work as hard. Or try to increase their speed to see if we can change the resting tension in their abdomen.
