I Squat♥️⁣ ⁣ And.... I workout♥️⁣ ⁣ And do you know one of THE biggest reasons I workout? ⁣ ⁣ My kids. It’s funny because so many times I hear that people think or are told they should feel guilty if they take time to workout, get healthier, feel better, feel HAPPIER. Because taking time for YOU to workout is taking time away from other things. Like time with your Kids. ⁣ ⁣ But see, the life changing treasure hidden within those stolen minutes that make YOU happier and stronger and healthier and more energetic, is the gift of LIFE. Every day you choose to fill your mind and body with movement and sweat, it’s life. Pure, raw, beautiful LIGHT and life...... It makes you HAPPIER for your kids, and STRONGER for your kids, and HEALTHIER for your kids and more ENERGETIC for your kids. Cause don’t they deserve OUR best selves? And we can’t be OUR best selves for them and us if we don’t take care of OURSELVES.💡⁣ ⁣ And to top all that off, I don’t know about you, but I plan on sticking around for a LONG time.... And to do THAT, I’ll need all those things above to have my best shot at soaking up MANY MANY MANY MANY more years.♥️ ⁣ ⁣ So all you mamas out there stealing those minutes just for you, to make yourself happier or stronger or better, your kids will remember that and they’ll be so thankful you did.♥️

📸 Today has been a tiring start of the week! Does anyone else find Monday’s a struggle?? I got home and picked up my makeup that I had ordered from boots! Got home, James’ mate came over and I forgot that it was the last ever Zoom Ballet call! So I jumped straight onto that! So far I keep running a day behind on the Calendar of running and Pilates! So will use this Friday to catch up again, I have no plans this week so it 100% will be done! Last week I put too much pressure on myself to see my parents and do my workout calendar! We need some wiggle room! So I will use that! The schedule is there as a guide to keep me fit and my mind healthy! The moment that it starts to control my life is the moment I need to reflect on the purpose of the calendar in the first place!! 🙌🏼🙏🏼😋😘 Here’s a pic of Saturdays Porridge! What do you have on yours? Feelin super stoked on this decision. I was running late to work this morning and needed something for lunch. I opened the fridge in urge to find something quick to grab. I couldn’t find anything. My eyes started to gaze around at all the fresh veggies we had just purchased from the farmer’s market and ya girl decided to fight the urge of just snagging something from the work cafeteria, and packed this super refreshing salad. Healthy balanced lifestyle is 🔑 I could never be one of those people who are just overly obsessed with healthy eating and can't enjoy a nice cheat meal because they're too worried about putting on that extra pound 😁 Having a cheat meal (or day 😁 ) will not make you fat, but overeating will ❗ as long as you workout and burn enough kcals to be in deficit, you don't need to stress yourself about all the kcals in that yummy pizza or a cupcake. Just enjoy the journey of being fit and eating healthily during the week whilst still indulging in all those treats over the weekend 😋 Lobster linguine accompanied by a glass of white (or 3🤷🏼‍♀️ ) is one of my favourite cheat meals 🍝 What's your favourite cheat meal? 😁

▪ Goedemiddag! . Afgelopen weekend een dagje naar Duitsland geweest. Even helemaal ertussenuit 🍀. . Je bent niet de enige... . Ik voelde me afgelopen vrijdag moe, lichamelijke maar ook geestelijke. 😴 Ik ben niet gaan sport en heb meer gegeten dan de planning was.
