Calfs for me are the hardest muscles to grow on my body. Genetically i haven't been gifted with the best calf development. Similar to @simeonpanda i work my calfs out at the end of every workout i do (assuming they're not hurting too much and have recovered from the last workout ). Try this calf variation to feel that extra burn on your last set. You can use this on any calf exercise or calf machine in the gym. ➡️ on your last rep when your calf is fully extended in the push movement, hold that position for as long as you can till failure. It works for me. New client, a runner, presents with left knee and lower leg pain. There were so many tight and painful muscles that I asked about any scars and surgeries. He told me he has his appendix removed 4-5 years ago. So I decided to test his abs and psoas. NKT testing found the adductors and medial gastrocnemius overworking, causing medial knee pain, and the internal oblique underworking. This is typical of an Anterior Oblique Subsystem dysfunction. Released the adductors and gastrocnemius, then activated the internal oblique. But the posterior knee area still hurt. Then NKT testing found the hamstrings and soleus overworking and the psoas underworking. Released the hamstrings and soleus, then activated the psoas. The posterior chain is made up of all these muscles: erector spinae, latissimus dorsi, trapezius, glutes, hamstrings, adductors and sural triceps. The posterior muscle chain is essential for maintaining an upwright posture. However, we tend to belittle it by adopting kyphotic positions due to sitting for a long time or abusively strengthening the anterior chain. This causes that the back muscles lose their tone while the torso muscles are shortened, appearing the upper crossed syndrome. While in the lower body the hamstrings, the adductors and the hip flexors are shortened. The latter produce gluteal amnesia in which the glutes cannot effectively perform their hip extension function. Therefore, we must maintain a balance between the anterior and posterior chain. 🔥Improving the way you PUSH OFF as you RUN🔥 - 🔎Improving the way you push off the ground can help you RUN FASTER⚡. This is because the harder you push off the ground, the farther you will move FORWARD➡️. With a bigger step, this ultimately leads to FASTER TIMES!⏱ - 🔑Now, here are some ways I work on the PUSH OFF PHASE in runners: 1️⃣Supported Single Leg Heel Raise- The calf muscles play a HUGE role in propulsion, so incorporating calf strengthening exercises may be beneficial. I love this variation as this is a way to strengthen the calf muscle in a single leg position without worrying about the balance aspect of a standard single leg heel raise. You can use a ball to cue to only use the elevated foot for balance. 2️⃣Step Up and Over- This is a way to work on loading through the foot! If you watch closely, this mimics a similar movement pattern the foot has to go through as you begin to push off the ground. Also, it incorporates strengthening of the quads, which also play a role in the push off phase! 3️⃣Single Leg Pogo Jumps- Remember that running largely involves energy storage and release from the tendons. This is why incorporating a plyometrics may be beneficial as well. Incorporating this specific variation biases usage of the ACHILLES TENDON, which plays a huge role in this phase. - 🏃‍♂️And those are a few ways to work on improving the way you push off the ground. "Інструкція для вічно худнучої людини" ⠀ 1️⃣Їж 5-7 разів на день, головне ніколи не наїдайся доситу бо виросте великий живіт через розтягнутий шлунок.І їжу не запивай, бо всьо гнити почне А як перестанеш бути постійно жуючим і почнеш їсти 3 рази в день як всі люди, то метаболізм зупиниться упасі Боже😂 ⠀ 2️⃣На вечерю лиш творог, бо так трєнєр сказав. І ніяких яєць, бо там холестерин. І після трєніровки протеїн, бо тренер обіцяв, що я так похудаю😅 ⠀ 3️⃣І їсти треба або до 18:00, або вже не їсти І лягати спати так, щоб живіт співав серенади та організм зневоднився, бо цілу ніч снились котлети, а всі слюні витекли на подушку😁🙈 ⠀ 4️⃣Раз продають ПП-батончики то треба брать. Не дурні ж люди придумали, ну.... І на упаковці фігні не напишуть, всьо по чесному👌 ⠀ 5️⃣ Є закон - раз в тижні голодовка на кефірі Щоб живіт скрутило, срачка напала, але то ж детокс 🙃 ⠀ 6️⃣Шоколад/масло/картопля- запріщьонка на дієті ❌ Онлі гречка і онлі суха грудка, а і ще листок салату, щоб вітаміни були🌿 ⠀ Ще класно загуглити "сушка для спортсменів" і сидіти на ній, поки остання волосина з голови не випаде, а при слові цукор почнуть литись сльози😂👌 ⠀ Ознайомились. Запам’ятали. Так не робіть 😉👌

🎯 Calf Targeting 🎯 Double Tap If You Train Calves! . 👇👇👇 Follow @trackablefitness 👆👆👆 . Training your calves is so important in getting a aesthetically pleasing and overall strong legs. However, many argue saying calf size is genetic and can't really be changed much. This can be entirely true, as it is with other muscles in our body, but wouldn't you still want to reach your maximum potential even if it isn't astonoshing? . We can actually target the muscles in our calves and work out the inner and outer! CAUTION: Do not use a lot of weight with your knees in the inner and outer position, definetly don't use heavy weights with these movements unless you are comfortable with them and know how to avoid injury. . Overall, training and targeting our calves is super important, but should be handled carefully when your knees are turned in an outward or inward position! Don't skip leg day, and if you dont, make sure not to skip the calf portion. .
