Are you making these mistakes? 🤔 1️⃣ Thinking a specific dieting method is the way to get results. Whether it’s keto, calories in/calories out, intermittent fasting, slimming world, weight watchers... all these “diets” do is the exact same thing.. create a deficit! Find what works best for your life and follow that VS only being able to follow a specific protocol for a set period of time. Sustainability is key! 2️⃣ Being a weekend warrior - are you dieting like crazy during the week only to go all out at the weekend? Creating a deficit during the week only to smash it by overeating at the weekend will only piss you off long term. It’s like saving money Monday - Friday then blowing every cent you’ve saved, landing you back at square one! 3️⃣ Thinking supplements are going to fix shit - they won’t! Focusing on how many calories you’re eating, getting enough protein, staying hydrated, exercising daily.. these are the things you should focus on. Supplements are the last thing you should be thinking of if you’re not getting your desired results!! 4️⃣Not tracking calories accurately - one mistake I have made in the past is “tracking loosely” or eyeballing the amount of food VS actually weighing things out. This for me was a big mistake because I was waaaaaaay off. Tracking your food to the best of your ability will not only get you your results quicker, you’ll learn a lot more about the foods you’re eating too eg. How many calories are in certain foods etc! 5️⃣ Being impatient - Having unrealistic expectations when it comes to weight loss. Be patient when it comes to your results. It is with pleasure I can finally say that as of last week I am officially a certified personal trainer!! My goal for lockdown was to see a 𝗯𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗽.💪🏼⁣ ⁣ And it’s almost been achieved haha!!!⁣ ⁣ 𝗝𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 - however I did say to matty that I wanted some more upper body definition!⁣ ⁣ As for the gym - I’m actually going back to work tomorrow to start training for when we re open!!! I can’t believe this is my final day of lockdown! Sad times - however I’ve thoroughly enjoyed myself and also managed To gain an extra 70,000 followers - so I cannot complain.⁣ ⁣ Thanks to each and everyone of you!

The positives of home workouts 🏋🏻‍♀️🌟 . My motivation for home workouts has been ROCKY, but I’m slowlyyyy getting back into them. Don’t get me wrong I miss the gym so much it HURTS, but I’m gradually starting to get into a better place with home workouts, I do what I’m feeling and move my body in a way that feels good. It’s so important to focus on the positives especially at a time like this, so remember that even though it’s been really hard adjusting to working out at home it’s not been the end of the world: . 🌟 You can focus on yourself and no one else. You’re in the comfort of your own home, you don’t have to worry about weird strangers looking at you or judging you for doing a funky new exercise 😋 you can take up as much space as you want without worrying about getting in anyone’s way, you don’t have to awkwardly wait for someone to finish using the machine you want, you can ALMOST imagine that it’s your own personal gym 😛 🌟 dance party between sets 🕺🏼 hands down my favourite part of the workout, I blast my favourite songs and get myself moving, it keeps me motivated and gets me feeling good 😛 not something I would feel comfortable doing in the gym 😂 (or maybe I could start a new trend when the gyms go back?? ) 🌟 it forces you to try new things. Since I’ve been working out at home, I can’t rely on machines and heavy weights. So I’ve had to get a bit creative, I’ve experimented with different exercises and different styles of workouts and it’s been so fun to try new things and discover what else I enjoy 💃🏻 . We’ve all felt it hard without the gym but we’ve come so far now, I have no idea when the gyms might open but we’ve made it this long, we can do a bit more 💪🏻 what are some of the things you’ve enjoyed from working out at home?
