Barbell Complexes are a great way lose fat and build muscle at the same time. They also serve as cardio for extra benefit. (Plus detox because you’ll sweat buckets. ) To perform just pick a few barbell exercises a la carte (compound movements preferred ) and do them back to back (to back to back to back ) until you finish what you came there to do. For each exercise do as many repetitions as you can until form is compromised. Then catch your breath and move onto the next one. Barbell forward lunges..💫 This is a lower body exercise which focusses on the quads, glutes, and hamstrings. The exercise allows you to add weight beyond your own body weight and perform the movement in strength gain. You will improve your hip mobility, core strength and balance on both sides of the body and by adding more weight you will engage the muscles more. -Barbell Lunges- Lunges have always been an exercise I've neglected. I would usually substitute it with front squats or hack squats. Every other week I'll switch between the three to shock my legs and get a different feel every time.
