delicia de día sábado ☺️💛 Ensalada 🥗, pollo a la mostaza y quinoa 🤤. . ⚠️ Han sido días estresantes por la universidad, no he tenido tiempo para hacer ejercicio diario y la verdad, mi mi mente no ha querido organizarce para hacerlo. Es el momento de la típica “recaída”, mi mente me comienza a dar por malas vueltas, mi cuerpo se siente pesado, y no sigo mis rutinas saludables. 👍 Lo bueno que rescato, es que ~mentalmente~ he sido fuerte para decirle a mi mente que todo lo negativo no es cierto, me lo demuestro a mi misma, y logró salir de ahí. ¿Respecto a la comida? Han sido días flojos, y he empezado a caer en el extremo de solo comer líquidos el 80% del día por los pasados 3 días aproximadamente. 🏆 Hoy desperté motivada. Se hace súper rápido con una procesadora y aguanta en la nevera 3-4 días perfectamente. . . ⏺️NECESITAMOS: . 🔸400 gr. Garbanzos cocidos. 🔸1 dientes de ajo pelado sin el tallo verde central. 🔸60 ml. Aceite de oliva virgen extra. 🔸Media cucharadita de sal. 🔸40 ml. Zumo de limón colado. 🔸Media cucharadita de comino molido. 🔸30 gr. De tahina ( producto nuevo en Mercadona ). 🔸30-60 ml. De agua mineral ( según os guste una textura más o menos densa ). 🔸Opcional para decorar pimentón dulce + una cucharadita de aceite de oliva + garbanzos. . ❇️SIN THERMOMIX ❇️ Con un buen procesador batimos todo unos minutos hasta conseguir una textura parecida a la mayonesa. This is a lovely soft yet spicy soup that is always a hit ! What you need : - 1 sweet potato - 4 carrots - 1 onion - 2 garlic cloves - 1 tablespoon curry - 1 teaspoon cumin - a small piece of ginger - 125 mL coconut milk Start by frying the onion and garlic in some sunflower oil. When the onions are translucent add the spices and cook for 2 more minute. Then add the sweet potato, carrots, ginger and a bowl of water. Cook for 30 to 40 minutes. When the veggies are soft, blend all the ingredients together and add the coconut milk. Perfect steamed dumplings (momos ) . Steamed dumplings (momos ) is famous street food from North-eastern regions of India. I had it first when we were posted to Delhi. I learnt to make as my children loved it very much. Over the years it has become extremely popular specially with the young generation . Nothing like hot steaming minister in cold winter. There are multiple varieties of this now - fried, tandoori , in gravy etc with different stuffings to make it interesting. . . . Dough: Take refined flour/maida (2 cups ), add salt (1/2 tsp ) and knead a firm dough. Rest for 15-20 min. . . Stuffing: Wash and dry your choice of vegetables (Cabbage, Carrot, Capsicum ). Grate it with a thick grater or finely chop it. Add garlic, ginger, chilli/pepper and finely chopped onions. Squeeze off excess water and add salt, sugar and oil (1 tsp ). Sometimes I add pander too. . . Method: Divide the dough into small balls and roll into 5 inch diameter. Keep the outer edges thinner. No flour is required to roll them since the dough is firm. Put 1 tsp of stuffing in each circle and make into desired shapes. . . Put them into a steamer for about 20-25 min till the outer covering becomes translucent. . . Alternatively you can fry them in oil. This also tastes amazing. If there are any leftovers, I shallow fry. . . I’ll call it “HaTuna Matata” cos it means no worries and it made me happy! 😊 Heat some olive oil in a pan and add crouched garlic, fresh chopped tomatoes, mixed herbs, chilli flakes and black pepper. Then add some courgette ribbons and the brine from a can of tuna. Add some cooked spaghetti and the tuna. Season if needed. Yummy! 😋

Train because you love your body, not because you hate it 🙌🏼 The human body is amazing! The fitness industry can be so focused on people getting abs, bigger glutes, hitting PB’s, etc, that it’s easy to forget about the most important thing - being healthy! Having a positive mind set towards your own body, and learning how to look after it, are super important for a healthy lifestyle. Shifting your view of yourself away from the negative to the positive is not easy, but it should be something we all work on. Here are some things that may help you to make that shift: 🌻 Affirmations. Get into the habit of repeatedly telling yourself positive things about yourself – even if you don’t really believe those things to be true. Eventually you will begin to believe them. 🌻 Stop comparing yourself to others. “Comparison is the death of joy” - Mark Twain. Your journey is not like anyone else’s, it is unique. 🌻 Stop focusing only on the end goal. I do believe that having goals and things to aim for is useful and effective, but it is easy to forget about the journey that will get you to that goal. Try to enjoy the process! 🌻 Surround yourself with people that make you feel better, that listen to you, that help you and really do care about you. By having people you respect and like, respect and like you back makes you feel more positive about the person you are. 🌻 Try to find the silver lining. No matter what the situation is, there is usually a way to put a positive spin on it. 🌻 You are your own biggest critic. So instead of letting your own mind tear you apart, address yourself as if you were talking to your best friend. You would never say that to him/her, or even think it, so why say it to yourself?
